Odd OneNote behaviour with control key.

I am using OneNote on my desktop with a graphics pad. When I am
writing with the pen I sometimes want to zoom in so my writing doesn't
look huge on top of my favorite documents. I use Control + mouse
scroll key to get to my desired zoom. However, my input changes from
INK to keyboard when I press the control key. It really wrecks my
flow. I don't want to have to re-select the ink input everytime I
zoom.

It would be nice if the control key could toggle between the pen and
the type/selection tool.
