I'm having a strange problem with Entourage 2004 (OS X 10.4.2), and am
wondering if other people have this issue or know of a fix: The type in text
fields in various places throughout the program is sitting too low in the
box, so that the descenders of the letters are cut off. This happens in mail
composition subject lines, the Filter/Search box at the upper right of the
Entourage window, Advanced Find entry fields, all of the fields in the New
Contact window, and, most annoyingly, in the fields for entering text when
editing rules--it makes it hard to see if you've properly typed in the
addresses or sender names for mail filtering. (Some other fields, like the
title boxes for Tasks and Notes, do display text properly.) Changing the
font preferences does not affect the size of the text in these fields. I did
not have this problem with Entourage X. Anybody know what's up?
