odd problem

I've written a VB6 application that accesses a Oracle DB
with Data Control. I created an
install package for this application with the Package and
Deployment Wizard. If I
install this application on a machine with VB installed,
everything works great. If I
install this application on a machine without VB, I get the
"application defined or
object defined error" message.
