I have Word 2003 Beta 2 installed. When I use double spacing or multiple
spacing, the line of type aligns to the top of the spacing area, as it
should. But when I use Exactly or At least, it aligns the line of top to the
bottom of the spacing area. In other words, if have two columns with one
spaced at 24pts and the other at 12pts, the first line of text in the 24pt
column will be 12pts lower than the first line of text in the 12pt column.
This is very unattractive.
I've checked and previous versions of Word do not do this. Do I have some
setting wrong or is this a change with Office 2003? Any ideas?
