OE 6 to Outlook 2002

I am trying to convert OE 6 to Outlook 2002. It works fine except new mail does not load automatically into the inbox. I have to go to the send receive command under tools to get new mail. I delete the OE account after setting up the new Outlook acount. Also, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the time frequency for polling for new messages. My isp is rr. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Jim H.
