OE Contacts

Bill

I have 2 computers. I had to Re-install XP Pro on one of
the machines. I need to copy our Contact list from OE6 on
one pc to the other. I have tried to make a Contact folder
in the new OE6 and copy contacts.pst (and contacts.dbx,
but not at the same time)to it but it does not work and
the folder reamins empty. How can I get this done?

Also, I cannot access .pdf attachments sent by my clients.
I can see the attachment in the email, but when I try to
open or download it, but OE won't allow me to do that. So
I have to forward the message to a co-worker and they have
to copy it to a floppy disk so I can access the attachment.

Please help!!

Bill

This is a group to support Outlook from the Office group of programs.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and is a quite different
program despite its similar name..

You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an
outlook express news group.

Try posting in one of these newsgroups:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress for OE 5.x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlookexpress for OE 5.5x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress for OE 6.x

A good website for information on OE is:
