OE not displaying graphics

Tinman80

Hi, I have this weird problem. Everything was working fine in OE when all of
the sudden graphics won't load and my IE won't load pages. SO I went through
all the usual suspects. Reset tcp/ip, msconfig, etc... I also checked that
OE is set to display graphics and it is. for good measure i tried ckecking
adn then unchecking the box and OE still doesn't display images, though text
displays fine. The images appear as red x's. I'd apprecaite any help.

Thanks

Did you by chance just do an upgrade somewhere, like having XP and doing
SP2? Or anything similar?

Tools, Options, click the security tab. Should be obvious there what is
blocking images, make the needed changes, but remember to be VERY careful
about attachments now.

Depending on your Windows version (which you did not give):
Tools | Options Read, uncheck the option to read all messages in plain
text.

I don't know what this question has to do with Outlook.

You don't?

It's like this, Frank: even though "Outlook" and "Outlook Express" are
(*have* been for more than a decade) entirely distinct products directed at
separate markets, their differences unfortunately have no influence at all
over how many ignorant and/or stupid customers like Tinman80 Microsoft is
(and will forever be) privileged to serve. :)
