OE removes acces to 'unsafe' files. Why?

OE has recently started removing access PDF and other file attachments which
are stated to be 'unsafe' but which I know are OK.

Tools-> Options-> tab Security-> Do not allow...

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
