OE will not pull messages

Using Outlook Express 6 connecting to MS Exchange 2003.
The user seems to be connected properly and all settings are correct. I had
the user telnet mail.xxx.xx 143 in order to see if he could telnet the mail
host. It was successful. However, when trying to send/receive messages, the
request goes through but no messages are pulled from the server. I sent the
user a test message which did not show up in his Inbox for OE, but did show
up in webmail. He is set up as IMAP. I'm out of ideas.

Turn on the troubleshooting log option. After doing a mail poll, look
in the logfile to see if the IMAP server returned a count of [unseen]
items in their mailbox. If the server is returning a zero count then
Outlook is behaving correctly as it was told there is nothing new there
to retrieve. In that case, the problem is with the IMAP server or the
user's account on that server and you have to get the admin for that
IMAP server involved in fixing the problem.
