OE6 - " Not Enough Memory"

Sorry if this has been asked before but could someone help me with a problem
I'm having with OE6?
Just assembled my own PC with 256mb 80 gb hd, Athlon 2000 processor but
whenever I try to reply to an e-mail a dialog box pops up telling me I've
"Not enough memory."
I'm running Windows XP Pro with Office 2000 Professional installed and apart
from Adobe Photoshop, Fuji Finepix Viewer software, Power DVD and Norton
I've not got much else running.
Anybody help.

Thanks, For some reason after shutting it down last night I am now able to
send/receive e-mails but now after trying to look at pics on Airliners.net
after clicking the thumbnail I get no response! Is it all down to XP 2000
Pro?
