OEM software for office pro 07

[office pro 07 install]

i recieved this in the mail with my new notebook pc, it has no disk just the
product key number, note book came with XP pro that installed no problem.
office pro 07 did not install or prompt me to enter the code. was told to
download the trial and enter the code i received in the mail but it tells me
the product key is incorrect

The trial version of Microsoft Office will only accept a "retail"
product key. If you received an "OEM" product key, you'll need
to contact the seller of your new notebook PC and request a
Microsoft Office 2007 OEM CD.
