I would like to bulk convert Office files. Word, Excel and PowerPoint only.
I have older Access and Viso files I do not want to change.
Can I bulk Convert just those files?
Also can I save the new converted file back in the original location?
All the examples I see save the newly converted files to a new location.
I want to keep my folder stucture in tact, remove old versions and save the
new versions.
I will have a full backup of my system before so I can revert back as needed.
I am looking to run this on my fileserver to get all files at once including
sub-folders.
Is it possible?
I want to try to elimiate duplicate data while converting files to the new
format.
If the conversion fails then I would like to leave the original in tact,
once completed then remove the original.
It is an unkown number of files as this would include all my users files
including their "my docs" as it's redirected to the folder share.
Thank you.
