Off 2003 SP2 failed update

I incorrectly asked this in another post with SP3. It is SP2.

I have tried WU, full file and client versions of the update. Message states
"The expected version was not found..."

The logs state there was no software detected that required this update.

There is a KB on this relating to network installed office. This is not the
case as it is a laptop,
