I have slipstreamed WinXP Pro into our deployment area to
allow us to run XP builds using the same process in place
for Win2k builds. With a bit of tweaking it all works fine
apart from the Office 2000 install. We run Office installs
using transforms which work seamlessly on Win2k but fail
on XP. The log files return Error 2318 and 1603 before
FatalError. The strange thing is that the install works
fine if transform files are not used but this is not
practical for us. Our copy of Office2k is SR1 and is run
from a separate partition on the same PC/Server. Again I'd
like to point out that the process works fine on Win2k
using exactly the same files and command lines.
Any help appreciated before I tear my hair out!
