Office 11.2.4 and com.microsoft.entourage.notes

If I update to 11.2.4 will I have the same problem referred to in the
post titled "Sync pane (pain)" posted in the entourage group? I had
the same problem as mentioned in that post, which was that after
updating to 11.2.3, and removing unwanted Entourage stuff, in the .Mac
system preferences pane, sync tab, we got an item
"com.microsoft.entourage.notes" that we couldn't get rid of. I don't
use entourage and with this problem, I'm about ready to go to Pages and
Keynote!

I'm not sure exactly what is is that you are asking for. If you read the
replies to the post you referenced, the exitance of that service doesn't
interfere with anything, including the Office applications.

Secondly, uninstalling Office will *not* remove it either, and I have no
idea how switching to a different word processor & presentation program
would resolve any issues with an email client - especially one you claim tom
not use in the first place.

If your concern is simply with the appearance of the com item & it being
impossible to remove without taking the radical approach describe in the
referenced thread, it seems the issue should be addressed to Apple. Perhaps
someone in the OS X Discussions can provide a solution.

OTOH, if I am missing the point, please clarify.
