Hello,
Thank you for your post.
I would like to share the following information with you for
troubleshooting the Office Installation issue.
1. Clean Boot:
Please use the MSCONFIG utility to disable all non-Microsoft services and
all startup items to boot the system in a clean environment, and then
install the Office 11 Beta to see if it works.

2. Temporarily Remove Firewall/Anti-Virus applications:
Please temporarily uninstall all the firewall and anti-virus tools,
including Norton anti-virus, Internet Security, etc. Then reboot your
system and try to perform the test to see if the problem occurs. Based on
our experience, these kinds of applications add filter drivers to the
system, and these drivers may cause the similar issue.
NOTE:
---------------
1) Generally, the filter drivers cannot be disabled by using MSCONFIG. It
is better to uninstall it instead of disabling it, because if we just
disable it, a lot of drivers are still running in the background.
2) After uninstalling these applications, please do not browse the Internet
and do not open any doubtful files.
However, if the installation still cannot be finished successfully, we may
need to collect several log files to perform a specific analysis. I hope
the following article helps:

Please let me know if anything is unclear. It is my pleasure to be of
further assistance.
