office 200 reinstall

Hi,
I have had to reformat and reinstall XP and everything else. However, I
cannot find my product key for my origonal word 2000 cd . Do I need this to
install? if so can I get the Key from MS?

Did your system come with Word pre-installed? If so, you'll need to contact
your original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to get a new key.
