I purchased Office 2000 for my old laptop computer a
couple of years ago. I recently donated that computer to
a friend's non-profit organization. Since I have a new
laptop and a new desktop, I had no need for the Office
2000 software and sent it to her with the laptop. I had
reformatted the hard drive and reinstalled all of the
factory installed software, but not the Office 2000
software. She needs to install the software, but doesn't
have the product activation code. I have searched high
and low to find it in any of my computer documentation,
and can't find it. Is there any way she will be able to
install the software? It should be legitimate for her to
do so, as I am no longer using it, and it will still be
single user.
Thanks!
