Jared

I am having a problem when I try to create an
administrative share for office 2000 I run the
setup.exe /a switch I have even tryed it with the
setup.exe /a data1.msi it starts the setup in
administrative mode and sits there saying "preparing to
install microsoft office 2000 sr-1 profesional" never dose
anything or giving you any options after 5-10min says it
is completed. How do I get this so I can put in my key
code company name and installation point any help would be
appreciated thanks.

Hi Jared,

If you're using an OEM copy of MS Office 2000 then Admin installs
aren't supported and you may find that it has installed into the
root directory of our drive.
