Office 2000 and 2003 troubles

We have some users with Office 2000 and some with Office 2003. I have 2
users working on the same document and they are each having problems with
it. The one with 2003 is getting a runtime error 6015 in Word. The user
with 2000 keeps getting an error message about corrupt tables. I have
traced the errors to the need of a hotfix post Office 2000 SP3. I got the
hotfix and ran it on the machine with Office 2000. Now, what about the user
with Office 2003? The support page I pulled up from Microsoft states that
the runtime error 6015 is on the Office 2003 side. But the hotfix is for
2000. Did I miss something?

A "runtime" error means that there is an error in a macro or add-in
that is attempting to run. Typically these macros are created by a
third-party and are not part of the Word installation.
