Windows 2000, Office 2000 Premium (store bought)
I had trouble launching Access. When I launch it from the desktop icon, I
get an error message that reads "Can't find the database you specified or
you didn't specify a database at all. Specify a database name in the command
line and include a path if necessary".
Thinking that I need to do a repair, I went to Add/Remove programs, clicked
the CHANGE button on Microsoft Office SR-1 Premium and I get the message
"This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package
exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to
verify that it is a valid Windows Installer patch package."
So then I got out my Office 2000 CD to do a reinstall. When I browse to
Setup.exe and execute it, I get the same "patch" error message there as
well.
What do I do???
