Office 2000 Automation Mail Merge Problem

I have a word doc that is set up to merge to a query in my acces
database. With only word, everything works fine. Trying to open wor
using automation with the same database open, 2 problems. One, anothe
instance of my database is opened and stays open. Two, I get th
message ‘Do you want to save changes to the word doc’. Please help.
Also, why is it impossible to find VBA code examples for mail merge?
