Office 2000 document icons defaulted to Windows

We just encountered a problem that required our reloading
Office 200 to our home computer. After we did so, the
icons for various Office documents (Word, Excel, etc) all
default to the Windows default icon.

How can we change this so that the approriate icon shows
up on a document?
