Office 2000 - EULA Error

Nichola

I am running Office 2000 on a laptop and have updated with Sevice Pack 3 and the latest critical updates from the website, however, now everytime I open an office application e.g. word, excel etc the End User Licence Agreement pops up asking to accept of the application will close. While the applications work after accepting, the EULA pops up and an error is generated when you try to open any of these applications on the web.

Can anyone shed any light as to how I might overcome this problem?

Hi, Nichola,

Try logging into the workstation as "administrator", and accepting the EULA.

Many Thanks Susan,
This worked, I upgraded whilst running the programme as an administrator without logging off from the network, so this must have been the reason the EULA was not being accepted correctly.

Thanks again for you help
