After having had Office 2000 for (obviously) years, I checked "Provide
feedback with sounds" in Advanced Options, which prompted me to go to Office
Update and download the Office Sounds add-in. I ran the MGA validator, and
it refused to allow me to contiue, stating in part:
Why didn't my machine complete validation?
No Office products eligible for validation were found on this PC.
This may be due to one of the following:
- The version of Office installed on this PC is earlier than Office XP.
Oh, great. I have a legit copy of Office, just too old for MS' tastes. How
else can I download an add-in I'm entitled to?
Thanks,
Charles
