Office 2000 help

my word 2000 doesn't display it's menu and tool bar,but excel running nomally.
After I reinstall the whole system ,include windows and office ,the problem
is still.

thx a lot! I have resolved this problem with renaming the normal.dot to
another and starting word with swith /a.

Hi, Steffen. I'm glad you got it working again, but don't continue to run
Word with the /a switch, which is only meant to be used as a diagnostic tool
to help isolate the cause of startup problems. If renaming the normal.dot
template fixed the startup problem, then you should be able to start Word
normally (without the /a switch).
