Office 2000 Install error

Hello,

I can't get anywhere with Sony or Microsoft. I'm
surprised - should I be??

I have a new Sony VAIO GRT w/Windows 2000 and am trying to
install MS Office 2000. The notebook isn't on line yet.

A minute or so into installation I get "Internal Error
2349" and I'm dead in the water. Have tried several times,
also gone to "add programs". No good.

Can anyone help?
