OFFICE 2000 install error

I have Windows XP Home trying to install office 2000 pro I insert the disk
and enter the product key code and receive the following "Installer
Information- internal error 2755: please contact product support for
assistance.

Running Windows 2000, Office 2003 was installed, SQL Server 2000 was
installed - then we found out about the incompatibility of SQLMail with
Outlook 2003. We Uninstalled Office 2003 and tried to install Office 2000 -
we get Internal Error 2755 every time. I desperately need help and am on a
deadline to get two servers up - now they are both messed up. I have checked
all the KB articles and no resolution was found.
