Office 2000 install in Dell XP

H

Hal

I have a new DELL DIMENSION 4600 with XP. I initially
install Office 97, then tried to upgrade to Office 2000.
The office 2000 will not install completely. The error
message is: "Error applying transforms. Verify that the
specified transform paths are valid."
At this point I would be happy if I could just get Office
2000 to uninstall and I could re-install Office 97.
thanks for the help
