Office 2000, is it compatible with Vista?

Hoping I could get a question answered...I just purchased a new laptop
running Vista. I use Office 2000 on my desktop (running XP) Is Office 2000
compatible with the laptop? Don't want to install without knowing for sure.
Thanks!!

I'm not sure, but I would imagine it would be fine - easiest way is to
try it and see - if it doesn't install, just uninstall it!

Outlook 2000 won't remember passwords in Vista. If you can find a copy
of Office 2003, it's far superior to 2000.

Outlook 2000 remembers passwords just fine. Outlook 2002 has an issue with
passwords.

Outlook 2000 IMO has an issue with the Windows Address Book, which is not
supported in Windows Vista.
