I tried to run the legal pleadings wizard in Word (Office 2k sp3) and when
it finished I got the "project item cannot be saved" error with no
explanation. A search on this brought me to the MSKB article on the patch
for Word 2002, and info that a patch supposedly fixed it.
Since I have Word 2000, I went to office update and saw that there were two
security patches for Word and Excel (?) which I installed, figuring that
would do it.
Ran the legal pleadings wizard again and got the same error. Another web
search found some vague "uninstall Mathtype" solution, but I don't have
Mathtype installed.
Is there a fix for this? A couple of years ago I went to Office update and
downloaded a couple of nice templates already made that worked fine. Now
they're gone and there's only a download for the Legal Pleadings Wizard for
Word 2002. So I can't make a template, and can't download the ones that
used to be there. Unfortunately I don't have the machine that I used for
the old template, so the file is gone.
The worst part is that the easy (download the template) solution is gone,
the wizard doesn't work, and then the supposed fix for the wizard still
doesn't do it. Any help appreciated.
