office 2000 license

Help please.

I bought office 2000 in 2000. Had a pc crash and lost my
license number. I still got my cd's. How can I use this.
Or find my lic. number?

You actually need the license code. Look for books that
came with the CDs or if you still have access to the other
computer or the Hard Drive you may be able to use
utilities to get that computer back on and see if you can
salvage some information, however the 25-character License
Number is not on the Software, so you may be out of luck.
The best thing to do is try to get the License from your
paperwork and write the license code onto the CDs with
permanent markers.
