Office 2000 menus

On the options for the menus you have Show full menus after a short delay -
I don't want a short delay (it's actually not that short) I would like the
full menu to show when I first click on the menu and don't want to have to
double click or click on the down arrow. Office XP has the option to show
full when clicked, is there anyway to have office 2000 do this (maybe a
registry edit)?

Thanks.

David,

Please try this in any Office 2000 program.

1. On the Tools menu click Customize.
2. Click the Options tab.
3. Clear the "Show full menus after a short delay" check box.
4. Click OK.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I make note of this option in my original post, but this "short
delay" is not short, you have to wait a few seconds for it to expand which
is ridiculous. I don't want a delay. My question is, is there something in
the registry that can change this so it's instantaneous - like in Office XP.

Please re-read the instructions to resolve this issue. Step 3 is the key
here.
