Office 2000 .MSP files missing

I have Windows 2000 and Office 2000 and have recently
(mistakenly) deleted my .msp fils (the windows installer
patch files), so I cannot run my office programs and I
can't intall them off the CDs nor downlad the SP patches
for Office 2k. If you know the solution for this, I would
so appreciate your help. Thank you.

For a possible solution, see my reply to
Steve's "data1.msi" posting on 11/12. Run this cleanup
utility and uninstall Office 2000. Then reinstall it.
As Microsoft indicates, this solution opnly works with
Windows Installer Versions 1.1 and earlier.

Post whether or not this works for you.
