Recently I have formatted my computer and lost my Office
Settings. I installed savemyi.exe program file and run to
save new settings. But I couldn't save it in my computer,
only I could send it to MS server. and also I cannot find
how to retrieve the settings using the Wizard. it did not
prompted where to save. I did it before but something
seems wrong this time. I tried to search the answer
through the Newsgroup but I couldn't.
Please give me your generous answer.

Thank you for your kind help, and with the link you gave
me I followed all the direction as I did with Office 2000.
However still I have the error stating "Unable to run Save
My Settings Wizard at this time. You need to have a
version of Office 2000 installed on this machine."
The execution file in my computer is located at C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Microsoft Office Tools\savemy.exe ;
(124kb).
I wonder I need to reinstall the Office to fix this
problem.
I have Office service Pack 2 installed in my computer.

Thank you again.

From what you say it sounds like you need to reinstall the XP version
of the "Save My Settings Wizard" as the 2000 version is still being
accessed.
