When using Word 2000 or Excel 2000 and go to the Help menu and click on
"Microsoft Word Help" or in the case of Excel "Microsoft Excel Help",
instead of the help file for the application popping up, I get an "Office
Help" window that isn't showing the usual tabs over the left column. If the
icon is pressed to expand the help window to include these tabs, the window
goes blank and freezes which requires the Task Manager to close. It might
take several attempts at getting the application help to appear.
Is there a way to get rid of the "Office Help" as I never use it and get the
application help to appear when called upon...and no, I don't want to use
the Office Assistant which I find highly annoying.
Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.
