I have the strangest problem sice I have applied all my latest Windows
updates and SP4 to my Windows 2000 computers. When I open Outlook and use
word as my default email editor to edit and read messages it open up 2
copies of Microsoft Word in the background. This is annoying but I can live
with it. What I cant live with is that when you close Word it give this
message "WINWORD.exe has generated errors and will be closed down by
Windows. You will need to restat the program. An error log is being
created"
If I don't use Word as my default editor thing work fine, but I like the
spell check, and auto correct features. If I upgrade to Office XP the same
thing happens, and it is not a profile issue because I can duplicate it on
at least 3 of my machines that have been updated. Any ideas which patch is
causing this and how to get it fixed?
