Office 2000 or 2003

Hi, I have Office 2000 installed on my laptop (win2k, SP4) and the Univ
where I work is offering licensed 2003 Pro free to staff. I was wondering
if it is worthwhile to upgrade. My needs are basic: I use Word to write
manuscripts (I am a biomedical researcher), excel to manipulate data and
PPT for slide shows. I do not use access although I might at some point. I
also use Outlook. Any advice or input is appreciated.

i would suggest going for an update to microsoft office 2003 and moreve
when you are getting the same for free ;
New features are impressive

If you go for the upgrade, make sure you get a disk in case you need to
repair something

You might as well do it since Office 2000 was introduced
over 5 years ago.
