I am a college student and I need to have Office 2000 or
Office XP in order to run and receive assignments. And I
have been searching the Microsoft download site and I
cann't find either of them. Can anyone help me find them
so I can download one of them?

Office is not for download. You will also find that Office XP (which
superseded Office 2000) has in turn been superseded by Office 2003.

You can order or purchase Office online. There are many different editions,
comprising different program sets and running under different license terms.
See http://www.microsoft.com/office/howtobuy/default.mspx and in particular
details of Student/Teacher editions or purchasing academic licenses.
