Office 2000 or Office XP

I have been using Office 2000 updated for the last few years with the latest
updates without too much of a problem and also Outlook updated with one of
those programs to permit me to accept attachments. I forget which one right
now.

A few months ago, my company, as a not-for-profit, got a special deal for
bulk Office XP directly from Microsoft. I forget how many licenses but
enough so I could have one if I want it. Does it make any sense for me to
upgrade to Office XP at this point?

TIA

If you use Excel much and use links, Office XP provides a "Break Links" function that I find extremely useful. I believe this capability first appeared in Office XP, and it was one of the primary reasons I made the move from Office 2000. My general impression is that Office XP is more robust than Office 2000, and it deals with errors and network problems better than the older product. I've been very satisfied with the product.
