Office/Outlook editions must match for office automation to work - the fact that you have it working on your XP machine means that the Office Gods were smiling on you that day or you sacrificed a particularly plump chicken.

After furious head scratching, rcf asked:

| FYI-The "Send...attachment" feature does work in both word and excel,
| but only on the XP machine. Outlook settings are the same for both
| machines.
