Office 2000; Outlook 2003; Vista 64bit& XP Home;

When trying to "SEND..." from Excel or Word, I get different errors based on
"Send as Attachment"; "Send as Recipient"; etc.

I am on a Home network with one Vista 64bit and one XP home machine, and I
get the same errors on both OS.

I have Screen shots of all the error messages, but haven't figured out how
to include here.

So far both Office 2000, and Outlook 2003 all work fine, just not together.
Thanks

So Milly and Bob I-Luck notwithstanding, you're telling me that there is/was
no backward compatibility from OL 2003 and Office 2000, and that net work
settings have nothing to do with my problem?

FYI-The "Send...attachment" feature does work in both word and excel, but
only on the XP machine. Outlook settings are the same for both machines.

Anyone else out there who has any ideas re all this, please let me know.

Thanks RCF

Office/Outlook editions must match for office automation to work - the fact that you have it working on your XP machine means that the Office Gods were smiling on you that day or you sacrificed a particularly plump chicken.
