Hi,
environment: Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Office 2000.
During the years MS has published a number of security patches for
Office 2000. When applying these, it requests the installation CD and,
as far as it looks to me, does a "dumb" re-install of the whole Office
package even though the patch was just for MS Word. As this process
takes abt. 30 - 40 Mins. for each patch, it is not fun to install
about 20 - 30 patches though.
Is there a way to suppress the full re-install and just have the patch
to replace the changed files? Further I would like to know if there is
a way to create a new Office setup CD where the patches are already
integrated, as Windows XP offers with the /interate parameter.
Thanks and brgds
