Office 2000 phasing out?

O

Ogunther

I have seen mention on a few MS news sites that MS will
quit offering downloads for MS Office 2000 as of December
23rd. Is this just for the MSDN side of Office 2000 or
will we no longer be able to download SP-1a for Office
2000 as well?

I work for a company that rely's heavily of Office 2000
SP-1a so this is a pressing issue for us.

Thanks in advance for you help.

Hi Ogunther,

The updates to MS Office 2000 will continue to be
available from http://officeupdate.com ,
http://office.microsoft.com/downloads and
http://microsoft.com/office/ork/2000 through, as a
minimum the Office 2000 lifecycle (see the link
Eric included in his reply).

MSDN Universal subscriber downloads will discontinue
offering the Office 2000 product family for download
on 23 Dec 03.
