Trying to reinstall Office Premium 2000 4 disc set (Windows XP). Disk 2, 3 &
4 installs fine. Disc 1 (Word, Excel, Access, etc which I need) keeps on
showing following error message:
Error 1305 error reading file:
d:\pfiles\common\msshared\websrvex\40\bin\1033\fpmmc.chm Verify that the file
exists and that you can access it.
I have explored and checked files on disc but no such file fpmmc.chm is even
there? There is file fpmmc but it is help file regarding FrontPage server
extension. I have tried to custom install excluding FrontPage from
installation then get another error message: Internal Error 2349: Please
contact technical support.
I have researched and have cleaned disc as suggested also. Still does not
work.
Installation will not proceed because of these errors.
Any suggestions?
