Office 2000 Pro - Can I install Excel only?

I need to install Excel on my 98 SE box and I can buy a
used copy of Office 2000 Pro cheaper than I can buy a
copy of Excel.

Will the install program let me install just Excel ?
Also, would I need to install any other components
for Excel to work properly ?

If you select Custom Install, you can select whatever bits you want from
Office; if any other components are required they will be installed
automatically.

Use Custom Install to install Apps/Components req.
If any 'extra' components are req. ,when using Excel, you should get a
msg.window stating ' component not installed, do you wish to instal' or
similar, you then pop Office cd in and follow prompts.
