Office 2000 Pro SP2 & SP3

My OS is Windows XP Pr with Office 2000Pro

I was unable to download the SP2 and SP3 due to the ISP's interference with
my telephone connection, following reinstallation of Windows and Office
after an upgrade,so I obtained from Microsoft (very generously provided
free) the two CDs.

When I try to open the File on SP2 CD I get this message:"Please type the
location where you want to place the extracted files"

I tried all possibilities from the Browse selection, but every time I chose
a location I get the message:
"You must specify a folder with fully qualified pathname"

Does anyone know what a "fully qualified pathname" in these circumstances
is? Thank you.

Try creating a folder in Windows Explorer named "Office 2000 SP2" and one called "Office 2000 SP3". Then re-run the SP2 Setup and use "C:\Office 2000 SP2" for the SP2 pathname and "C:\Office 2000 SP3" for the SP3 pathname.
