Office 2000 Pro with Word 2002

How does one get updates, etc. in Word 2002 when you have
to have Office XP to get that far. I use Office 2000 Pro
and it is enough, and I have Word 2002 from the Works
Suite 2002?

Hi Herb,

MS Word 2002 from the MS Works suite is a part
of the Office XP product family. You can obtain
updates from either http://office.microsoft.com/productupdates
or manually through http://office.microsoft.com/downloads

As Word 2002 shares a number of files common to the
Office XP products, the Office XP service packs also
apply to Word 2002 standalone.
