We recently installed new PC's with Windows OS 2000
installed by the factory. On all these PC's (22 of them),
we installed Office 2000 from a pre-existing, multi-
license cd set that we have had for about 3 years. On
many of these new PC's, users keep having bizarre and
difficult to explain problems when they are working in
Office. One one of them, the PC tech support had me
reinstall the OS, which I did. The problems disappeared,
but new ones took their place. Most of these error
messages take place in Word, but several in Excel as
well. I am now wondering if the older, non-updated Office
2000 we are still using might possibly not be playing
nicely with the newest installations of OS 2000.
