Office 2000 Problems

I have been using Office 2000 for several years. All of a
sudden I am having a problem with the program literally
disappearing from my computer. After my computer is on for
several hours, if I try to access any part of office, I
get a message that says "This application must be
installed to run. Please run set up from the location you
originally installed the program." If I re-boot the
computer, it runs fine until several hours later when the
program message again appears. I have installed all the
upgrades and patches and nothing has helped. I am also
running Windows 2000 Professional.

This does not solve the problem because of the following
reasons.

1. I am using Windows 2000, not 95, 98 or Millennium
Editions. It was also a clean install not an upgrade.

2. Profiles are turned on but I am the only one who uses
the computer so my profile is the only one there.

3. I have full access to the program when the computer is
first turned on or rebooted. It is only after several
hours or the next day when the computer is on
continuously, that this happens.

There has to be another reason for this problem.
