Office 2000 Professional on Windows 2000

I updated Windows 98 to Widnows 2000. I am using Office
2000 Professional. When I go into Word, I type "Dear
Client:" enter, then the help wizard starts to show up and
the computer locks up. What is wrong. I am on a P3-450,
Windows 2000 5.00.2195, service pack 4. 320 ram. I have
downloaded updates off of Microsoft.com/office and windows
update screen. It stills locks up. Can you help please.
